Verizon Droid Incredible – New Verizon cell phones
The Verizon Droid Incredible cell phone by HTC is a great device. I’ve only been waiting for the Incredible because I didn’t want the Droid’s slide out keyboard. One major winning point for the Verizon Device is the screen tech, the Droid Incredible has OLED screen where as the EVO 4G has the TFT. The HTC Droid Incredible and the Sprint EVO are not alike. The EVO is similar to the HD2 without WinMo. We’ve also heard the HTC DROID Incredible will launch on Verizon Wireless on April 29th for $199. It’s a really nice phone!
The Verizon HTC Droid Incredible features include 3.7-inch WVGA capacitive AMOLED display, 8 MP camera with Dual flash and AF, 1 Ghz Snapdragon processor, 512 MB RAM/512MB ROM, WiFi, GPS, FM Tuner, Sense UI. I’m glad Verizon got a nice Android device.
The Verizon Droid Incredible will running Google Android 2.1 OS. Google has already said they aren’t happy about Android fragmentation. They’re working on being able to update core services without changing the UI overlay. In otherwords, once they release 2.2, any android phone will be able to upgrade OTA instantly. No more wait times.
